Folding Storymap Hijrah Route and The Story of Al-Ansar

Description

This Folding Storymap is an exciting new way to learn about the events leading to Hijrah (migration) of our beloved Prophet Muhammad ﷺ from his birth land in Makkah, to Yathrib (later known as Al-Madinah An-Nabawiyah).

From the hostile reception in At-Taif, to the night visits at Al-Khazraj camp site in Mina during Hajj season, the readers will learn the events leading to the Pledges of Aqabah that finally led the Muslims from Makkah (Al-Muhajirun) migrated to the city of Date Palm Trees; Al-Madinah An-Nabawiyah.

A tall folding map is included to illustrate the journey of the Prophet ﷺ from the city where he was born, Makkah, to Al-Madinah on the north. The map also includes significant landmarks and events during the Hijrah journey, including the events at Ummu Ma’abad tent and the pursuit of Suraqah.

The story of Al-Ansar is included to provide the readers with information regarding the helpers (Al-Ansar) to the Muhajirun from Makkah. Al-Ansar are people of Madinah from Al-Aws and Al-Khazraj tribe who welcomed the Prophet ﷺ and his followers. AL-Ansar gave the Muhajirun refuge in Madinah and shared their wealth with them, not withholding anything from them out of stinginess, and they strove in Allah’s cause, offering their wealth and their lives.
